About Andrew Tischler
Andrew Tischler's passion for art began at an early age. Born in Texas to a sculptor father and a painter mother, he discovered his love for oil painting during his school years, finding joy in capturing the essence of animals and the rugged landscapes of Western Australia. His journey continued as he studied art throughout high school, earned a Fine Arts degree, and became a professional artist at just 21 years old. Painting full-time, Tischler honed his skills and developed a signature style that celebrates light, form, and the intricacies of his subjects.
Beyond creating art, Tischler is also deeply committed to teaching. His workshops and online tutorials have reached students across the globe, earning him a dedicated following of over 1 million people on various platforms.
"I am totally obsessed with painting. In each piece, I explore light, depth, and the essence of my subject. I'll always be a student, learning from the Almighty Creator."
Andrew Tischler’s collection of original works and select prints is a celebration of artistry, passion, and the breathtaking beauty of landscapes, wildlife, and people.
Tischler now calls the South Island of New Zealand, home, along with his wife Rachel, son Hugo and a particularly stinky dog, Alfie.
